2023 Elberton Christmas Parade Registration

Thank you for your interest in this year's Christmas Parade, hosted by the Elbert County Chamber of Commerce and the Tourism Department. The theme for the 2023 Elberton Christmas Parade is “Rockin’ Around Elbert County” inspired by the 1958’s classic Christmas hit:

You will get a sentimental feeling when you hear… Voices singing, let's be jolly / Deck the halls with boughs of holly Rockin' around the Christmas tree / Have a happy holiday Everyone dancin' merrily / In the new old-fashioned way

Other popular definitions of “rock” includes 1) to move or sway gently from side to side, 2) to dance to rock music, 3) to shake, shock or daze, 4) to play rock music, 5) to wear something conflidently or have an assertive attitude, and of course, 6) a piece of stone or diamonds. So whether you rock in the way you move, groove, swing, or sway… let’s get Rockin’ Around Elbert County to kick off the holiday!

To register your business, group, organization or club to participate in the 2023 Elberton Christmas Parade, please submit your application and pay before the deadline (Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 4:00pm)

CHECK IN will be at the INTERSECTION of Tusten St. / Heard St.  near Franklin Insurance. between 2:00-3:00pm. **THE OLD KIMBRELLS PARKING LOT WILL BE CLOSED DUE TO NEW OWNERSHIP **

PARADE STAGING AREA will be officially blocked off to traffic on Sunday, December 3rd, 2023. Only participating vehicles, registered groups, and parade floats will admitted into the staging area. Pedestrians will be allowed to join a vehicle or float already in position along the staging route. If you have a large group, please meet outside of the staging route and enter together to avoid parking issues.
